The New Horizons conference is the premier teaching and learning conference of the Virginia Community College System, annually attracting more than 900 attendees including college faculty, staff, and administrative leaders from Virginia’s community colleges.  With over 180 hours of programming, New Horizons is the single largest professional development gathering of the system.

In addition to highlighting innovative teaching and learning , sessions emphasis the role of collaboration, creativity, integrated student supports, and effective business process redesigns in supporting student persistence and progression.
